47 Arabian Horses seized in Collins County, Texas will go to auction tentatively scheduled July 10th, 2010. The goal is to raise money to bid against killers at the auction and to find homes for the horses. This is an extremely challenging rescue which requires that we all work together to have a good outcome. These images are haunting, they look like ghost horses. Please dig deep to help them.

• 18 stallions
• most of the horses are not halter broken - we need money to pay a trainer to get in there and halter train
• horses are emaciated and may require temporary homing locally before they can be shipped - funds needed for feed and vet care
• herd has been together, so mares may be pregnant, large number of very young horses
• registrations probably non existent except on older horses

We are working with two local volunteers and are extremely grateful for their help. Please extend every courtesy to them. Please remember that this is a very upsetting situation and hard for everyone to understand how these things happen, but they do.
